Only in Key West. This is the biggest Smallest Parade in the Universe. The event will take place on October 26th at 5 pm located on Duval Street close to The Paradise Inn Key West. It is a night of fun and creativity. A miniature parade with floats crafted by the most creative people in the keys flows past an interpretation of Duval Street.

Smallest Parade in the Universe

Created by Key West entrepreneur Chris Shultz, this event benefits the Monroe Association for ReMARCable Inn Key WestCitizens (MARC, Inc.). Float builders can build whatever they would like with a few restrictions. The floats cannot be larger than 18 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 18 inches high and must be PG13. Floats will be decorated in many different forms and styles as long as they stay within the size constraints. However, points will be awarded for the theme “Let It Fly!!”

The Third Annual Smallest Parade in the Universe 2017 will be filled with big and small events! The afternoon will start with the Parade. The floats will line up, go down a specially created “Duval Street” by Rick Worth. The parade then will be projected on the “street” as full-sized floats. After the parade, some floats will be up for a silent auction that benefits the MARC House. The Smallest Parade begins at 5 pm and ends at 9 pm. Event ticket prices for this fundraising event are $20 and $25 and a cash bar is available.

The 2nd Annual Smallest Parade had about thirty entries, and this year it is going to be bigger, smaller, and better than ever. Stay at The Paradise Inn Key West for the best location to experience the parade. Located right by Duval Street, you will have easy access to the fun-filled event and have the relaxation of being at an Inn. Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 26, 2017, for Smallest Parade in the Universe 3.0 and be apart of this incredible journey that is only offered in Key West.
